Vanartsdalen Scores Four in Bloomsburg Field Hockey Win

BLOOMSBURG -- Jamie Vanartsdalen (Huntington Valley/Lower Moreland) scored four goals and added one assist to lead the Bloomsburg University field hockey team to a 10-0 win over Millersville on Saturday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game.

The Huskies improve to 4-0 on the season and now have won 28 straight games dating back to last season.

Tara Bourke (Hopatcong, NJ/Pope John XXIII) contributed two assists and one goal for the Huskies. Amanda Deloy (Milton, DE/Cape Henlopen), Liz Macready (Denver/Cocalico), Whitney Miller (Lancaster/Penn Manor), Samantha Kropa (Tunkhannock/Lackawanna Trail) and Brieann Wolfe (Perkasie/Pennridge) each had one goal.

The Bloomsburg defense was outstanding allowing just three shots on goal for the game. For the year, Bloomsburg has outscored its opponents 39-1.

The Huskies play at Indiana (PA) on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
